The Swanson School Board of Trustees is in the process of amending our enrolment scheme as directed by the Ministry of Education under section 11H(1) of the Education Act 1989.
If this amendment is approved, some addresses from current students will no longer be in our zone from January 2021. This will not affect the children currently enrolled at Swanson School, but it might mean that younger siblings will not be allowed to enrol with us in the future.
We have started a consultation process and feedback will be submitted to the Ministry of Education for their consideration. If you want to submit your opinion, please post it in writing to the Board of Trustees before the Friday June 26th 2020 and include “zone amendment submission” on the heading.
