Welcome to Swanson

Swanson Primary School is a state funded co-educational full-primary school situated in Swanson, Waitakere City. It caters for between 470 and 500 Year 1 to 8 students. Founded in 1887, the school’s original building is represented in the school logo.

The school is well resourced and appointed. In addition to the 24 classrooms there is a hall, an administration block, a resource room, a library, a ‘digital classroom’ and a school/community multi purpose room. The buildings and grounds are well presented and maintained.

The Principal, management team and staff are committed to providing a quality education for all students.
