Room 8

Room 8 have got off to a great start this term following the move from Room 5.The students are settling in well to new routines and are a very positive, cheerful bunch. Many students are enjoying riding their scooters in the playground. For Topic we are learning about the different jobs people do and we will have some visitors coming in to talk to the students about their work. Maths programme includes patterning and time, plus numeracy. Reading and Writing happen every day with a mixture of Shared Book and Poem reading plus levelled readers going home each day. We enjoy fitness every day and swimming on Tuesdays,Thursdays and Fridays for the first three weeks of the term. Thanks for your support in and out of the classroom by naming clothing and doing reading,maths and literacy homework each night. A big thanks to the parents who help me with swimming and organising clothing afterwards. It is really great to see so many of you taking an active part in your child's learning. Please come in and meet me if you have not done so already.
