Room 3

Welcome to rockin Room 3!!!

We have 33 very hard working students in Room 3.  We are still riding the high of winning the Rugby World Cup on our home turf but are trying to come back down to Earth to face the challenges and new learning in Term 4.

 We have had such a busy year full of lots of interesting and exciting topics and learning.  Many of us are getting ready to leave Swanson school and head to High School, which makes this an especially exciting time of the year.  Very soon we will be beginning to think about organising our Leavers Assembly and farewell those of us moving on to the next stage of our lives.

Although we have still got lots of exciting learning to do first.  This term we are focussing on our topic of "Human Space Exploration".  We are beginning our topic by visiting the Stardome Planetarium and posing our own research questions we plan to study.  We will be using Powerpoint and creating presentations to share with others in our school.

A couple of reminders that Homework will be given out from Week 2 and as always is due in on Friday or Monday morning at the latest.

Please ensure that hard covered shows are worn for Tech every Tuesday, no canvas shoes!!!
