Room 11

Welcome to Room 11!

I hope that everyone had a fantastic holiday and is rested and ready to have a very busy term. My name is Spencer Woolrich. I have been teaching in the Koromiko team for a year. I am looking forward to working with the great class I have the pleasure of teaching this year.   

We will be building our fitness levels with a class fitness regime.  Each Friday we will be involved in syndicate sport. Please ensure that you have appropriate clothing, footwear and drinks.
Please make sure that all stationary is brought to school as fast as possible. We will be naming these in week one and starting work in the books. 

The topics to be studied this term include “heat on the environment”. Art exhibition has been moved to term one, so we need to start to get our art ideas flowing.  Information will be coming to you about our school camp this year. This will be in Term two. 

 The homework will be started in week two of the term. It is class directed and builds on what is being done in class. Spelling words and work will be given out each Monday and is due each Friday. As well as this children will be advised if they need to complete getting a current event item. Homework is encouraged to be completed each week. A record will be kept of those who complete the tasks. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to get in contact. I look forward to meeting you throughout the year. 

Thankyou to all the class, for their hard work while I was away with the birth of my new daughter, Maioha. I look forward to this attitude continuing during the year.
