Trash to Fashion Awards 2009

Each year the Waitakere City Council hosts Schools Trash To Fashion Awards.These awards are all about Reducing, Reusing and Recycling our planet's resources.  This year we had six entries.  All of the garments were constucted of recycled, reused or enviornmentally friendly products.  Our girls modelled their outfits extremely well and we are thrilled to report that an entrant from our school won a category of the competition.  Stevie Gilchrist won the intemediate section of the Junkyard Super Hero category with her Warrior Queen constume.  Congratulations girls, we are very proud of you.
